Η μαζική προσέλευση, η ζωντανή συμμετοχή των αντιπροσωπειών, οι δυναμικές συναυλίες και το αγωνιστικό κλίμα έδωσαν τον τόνο σε όλο το τριήμερο. Το Resistance 2008 έκανε την αρχή σε ένα νέο κύκλο πολιτικών και πολιτιστικών παρεμβάσεων που η Αριστερά έπρεπε να ανοίξει. Το φεστιβάλ έκλεισε με την υπογραφή κοινής δήλωσης από 24 κόμματα και οργανώσεις από όλο τον κόσμο. The mass attendance, the lively participation of delegations, the dynamic concerts and the militant atmosphere gave the tone in the whole event. Resistance 2008 is the beginning for a new circle of political and cultural interventions that the Left has to open. The festival concluded with the release of a Joint Statement, signed by 24 parties and organisations from all over the world.
